New red concrete roof tiles laid in straight courses on a Birmingham house

Roofing

From a few slipped tiles to stripping and re-covering the whole roof. We work on pitched roofs with concrete tiles or slates, and on flat roofs over extensions and garages.

  • Re-roofing — Old covering stripped, new breathable membrane and battens, then tiles or slates laid and fixed in straight, even courses.
  • Roof repairs — Slipped or broken tiles and slates replaced, ridge and verge put right, leaks traced back to where the water gets in.
  • Flat roofs — Flat roofs over extensions, garages and bays re-covered with a torch-on membrane, with the edges and upstands finished properly.
  • Chimneys & flashing — Lead flashing around chimneys renewed and dressed into the tiles, so rain runs off the roof and not into the loft.

New white fascia and gutter fitted under a tiled roof

Guttering

Gutters that overflow, sag or leak at the joints send water down your walls. We replace the run, the fascia boards behind it and the downpipes, so the water goes where it should.

  • New gutters — Old gutters taken down and a new run fitted on brackets, with the right fall towards the outlets.
  • Fascias & soffits — Rotten timber boards replaced with new white fascias and soffits, so the gutter has something solid to sit on.
  • Downpipes — Downpipes fitted or replaced and connected to the gutter outlets and the drain.
  • Gutter repairs — Leaking joints and broken brackets put right when the rest of the run is still in good shape.

Pergola with a clear polycarbonate roof over a stone patio

Terraces, decking & pergolas

A terrace you can use in any weather: a level deck, a pergola over it, and a clear roof that keeps the rain off and lets the light through.

  • Covered terraces — Clear polycarbonate roofing over a pergola, so the terrace stays dry and bright.
  • Pergolas — Timber or aluminium pergolas built to the size of your terrace, fixed to the house or free-standing.
  • Decking — A level timber frame on solid supports, then timber or composite boards laid with even gaps.
  • Garden roofs — Timber roof frames for garden rooms, sheds and porches, ready for their covering.
